Community + Food Fair
At the Community Hub (North of the barn) from 12:00pm-4:30pm.
For our 2025 festival we focused on food folks that reflect the heart of our festival—local, sustainable, nourishing, and community-rooted. The small-scale food vendors prioritized wholesome ingredients, made food from scratch, and support local agriculture.
In addition to food based vendors we are adding other skilled artisans to our Community + Food Fair for the 2026 festival. Our one ask is that these vendors consider having an educational piece to their set-up so that guests gain new found knowledge after carrying on. Can you display a hands on, interactive aspect for an interesting perspective on how your product is produced?
Do you or someone you know see yourselves amongst a community of likeminded on the land for @commongroundfestival.ca seeking the finest homegrown curated foods or crafts? Does your food or craft have a connection to the land? A story amongst the stars? How does your product relate to the regenerative aspect of consumerism? Has your food been repurposed for dips using ingredients from a farmer? Did that road kill just become an animal hide for a new born baby to grow up on? How can you inspire those looking for a deeper connection to their food or their adornments?
Other business’ of interest to add to the fair are holistic health vendors along with some initiatives that we believe make a difference in agriculture, the environment and have a positive community impact.
